BikeLoud and Bike Portland present the 2024 Yacht Rock Bike Ride! Ahoy, bike enthusiasts and smooth sailors! Get ready to set sail on two wheels for a Yacht Rock Bike Ride to Cathedral Park River Fest and St John’s Swimming Dock Grand Opening on June 29, 2024! We'll be meeting up at the Peninsula Park main fountain at 2:15pm, kicking off this journey at 2:45pm sharp to make a big splash for the ribbon cutting at 3:15pm where the vibes will be as mellow as a summer breeze. Dress in your finest 70s attire—think bell-bottoms, Hawaiian shirts, captain’s hats, and big shades—as we cruise through Portland's streets to the silky sounds of the 70s. We'll glide through scenic routes, all the way to Cathedral Park in St. Johns, where the fun continues at the Cathedral Park River Fest and Dock Grand Opening Party! We are celebrating Portland’s newest swim dock! Bring your swimsuits, floaties, fins, inflatables, goggles, and ice cold drinks! The Willamette River also has lots to offer if you just want to dip your feet in, listen to music, people watch and walk around under the bridge. Expect smooth tunes, good vibes, and a sea of smiling faces. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a weekend warrior, this ride is all about the journey, the music, and the memories. So, dust off that vintage gear, tune up your bike, and get ready to Sail Away with us on a Yacht Rock adventure you won’t want to miss! Anchors away at 2:45pm sharp, maybe even 2:40 !! See you there! DON'T FORGET: Bring your swimsuits, floaties, fins, inflatables, goggles, and ice cold drinks!
