Know Your Greenways rides explore Portland's extensive network of quiet neighborhood streets designated for bicycling, showing you how to use the network to get to where you want to go. This BikeLoud PDX affiliated ride uses the 20s and 30s greenways to visit the annual Fremont Fest Marketplace. Fremont Fest has over 150 vendors along a closed section of NE Fremont Street. This year the fest has an 80s theme to honor the 40th anniversary of the Beaumont Business Association sponsoring it. Neon colors, shoulder pads, and even leg warmers are encouraged! BikeLoud PDX hosts many rides throughout the year to encourage people to meet each other, bike more, learn, and have fun. Our volunteer committees follow policy and address best practices in infrastructure to help Portland meet its 25% goal of trips by bike. Hope to see you on the ride!
