    Ever been to Elk Rock Island just south of Milwaukie Bay? It's a somewhat hidden treasure of the Portland area and it's accessible via land bridge about 2/3 of the year (the rest of the time it's flooded over). This ride will start up at Clinton Park (SE Woodward and SE 55th) and make a stop at the most excellent Shoofly Vegan Bakery (SE Division St) to grab some snacks and goodies before winding our way through Sellwood, and then down to the bay, and out to the park next to Elk Rock Island where there are bike racks. From there's it's a short walk down a trail to the island where we can hike around, picnic, eat goodies, etc.
