Patagonia Tour De Bridges In Portland Oregon there are a total of 37 vehicle and pedestrian bridges. The Patagonia Tour De Bridges is a unique opportunity to explore different areas of Portland and avenues for biking, while getting to either cross or see some of the bridges. Building off the rides hosted last year by Nathan Khalsa, who mapped out the Sellwood Bridge Tour (formerly River Romp), the rides this year seek to offer more opportunities for seeing the city and for different levels of biking and endurance. We are excited to share these rides with you and the contributions from the friends who helped create these. What to Expect: Distance: 11.51 miles Time: Approximately 2-2.5 hours Elevation Gain: ~ 250 ft The Sellwood Bridge is a deck arch bridge and the current bridge today opened in 2016. The total length of the bridge is 1,976 feet. The original bridge was a steel truss bridge. This particular route is a casual cruise from our Portland store down to the riverfront, along the river and across the Sellwood Bridge. From there it is up the river along the Springwater and back up to the Pearl. The ride will end outside Deschutes Brewery Portland Public House 210 NW 11th Ave, Portland, OR 97209. Participants are welcome to join in at the bar (open seating) where food and beer is available for purchase. Our friends at Deschutes also have Patagonia Provisions Kernza Lager and Non-Alcoholic Kernza Golden Brew available! Key takeaways: •Meet at the store to sign waivers at 5:30 PM to depart promptly by 5:45PM •Bring your own bike and water bottle. We will have filling stations for pre and post ride •All levels of riders are encouraged to join https://sellwoodbridgetour.splashthat.com/
