  • Update Jackdaw | 8th Anniversary | We've got a nice route planned for ya this Sunday, the 14th, for our 8th anniversary of Corvidae BC. We began with an intention of showcasing green routes for safe bicycling around the city while being being a safe space for our attendees. We've grown from 3 to (nearly!) 8 birb representatives and maintain a dedication for chill, no bullshit rides. There are no store stops, so bring your provisions. Bring a spare tube and some tools for quick fixes. Leave no trace, respect each other and our city. Don't ride in the oncoming lane or be reckless on our rides. We don't tolerate any racist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, creepy or any other kind of violent behavior. Be cool and meet us for a ride from the Jackdaw.

    Organizer Corvidae BC

    Time Sun, Sep 14, 2025, 1:00 PM

Time details Meet at 1PM. Roll out at 2PM

Established in 2017, we ride once a month to enjoy what this city has to offer. Each month is led by a different CORVIDAE member, and therefore will be unique. We occasionally have themes or additional donations to different organizations. Additionally, host pop-up rides during the summer. We try to focus our rides on greenways, group etiquette, safety measures and general comradery. In addition to bike safety and accessibility, we want to promote using bicycles as an alternative to fossil fueled travel within Portland. This is a no-drop ride, but please bring your repair kit with a spare tube so we can keep the ride rolling. Please bring your own provisions; we’ll be stopping near stores, but not at them. Each member has an eye out for the crowd, will cork, sweep and be a general pillar of support. Ride pace is casual at around 10 miles with a few park stops. We aim to impress that this is a safe environment for all; no aggressive, sexist, racist, or any other kind of BS will be tolerated. Please review our Corvidae Code of Conduct. Meet 2nd Sunday of every month Hang at 1 PM  Wheels down at 2 PM sharp Bring your respect for each and the city. Leave no trace 🤘🏽
