Ride is a loop
For the 3rd year we ride to see the lights at PIR. All rides have merged in the past years and are welcome to meet up again. What can you expect? Well, we ride from Irving park, to PIR and the distance isn’t great and the roads we travel on are pretty smooth, but the temperature at the raceway is a lot cooler than in Central Portland, so bundle up a little extra. We will maybe have a store stop, but not definite because there’s toilets and food/drink vendors at PIR. Admission cost is $16. If possible please let your ride leader know if you need help getting a ticket and if you can help others getting a ticket. NH has low funds at the moment so we can’t dip into the coffers. We will leave PIR as a group and head back to Irving as a group. It’s safer. What else is there to know? Music? Yes, we will be playing music but it won’t be like shopping and being bombarded with Xmas music. Just something cool and fun and uptempo… As with all our rides we practice consent and non-violence. We’re all expected to be respectful of ourselves and each other and if possible help each other.
