Time details Meet 9:45, Ride 10

End location End location: Japanese American Historical Plaza

Saturday is International Women's Day, and this year we've got lots to protest! Come join for a ride over to the rally (happening at the Japanese American Historical Plaza) and find community with other folks who believe in bikes and women's rights. The link between fossil fuels/environmental degradation and violence against women is undeniable, evidenced by women bearing the brunt of violence in regions around the world that have been devastated by resource extraction and corporate/colonial interests. By riding bikes (and advocating for better bike infrastructure and public transit), we lessen our reliance on fossil fuels/mining, give capitalism the finger, and support women globally. The rally starts at 10:30 so we'll aim to head out at 10. Ride will be easy paced and welcoming! This ride (and rally) is inclusive of trans women and folks of ALL gender identities/gender expressions. See you there!

Support your community — see how you can help make bike fun safe for all.
