Welcome to REVOLUTIONARY SUMMER! It's the season to grab your bike, find your comrades, and soak up some sun while resisting fascism! We're kicking off the season with a revolutionary joyride that'll take us from Salmon Street Springs over to Laurelhurst Park, where we'll end at "Gays Eating The Rich in the Park," a resistance carnival hosted by PDX Queer Meetup and Rose City Indivisible. The pace will be easy but the energy will be high! You can expect lots of fun music and chanting on the ride, maybe a few shenanigans along the way, and when we arrive at Laurelhurst there will be activities for leftists of all stripes. Trump piñata or guillotine-inspired cornhole, anyone? Don't forget to wear your keffiyehs, fly your pride flags, make a dessert to share (please label ingredients), and bring your zines, stickers, and mutual aid donations (clean clothing and non-perishable food). Decorated bikes and carnival attire welcome too– let's have some fun! This isn't a mask-mandatory event but masks are encouraged and available. VIVA LA REVOLUTION!
