End location: We will be done after ice cream, but will lead anyone back to the starting point to complete the loop
Join us for our 3rd Annual Climate Resilience & Adaptation Ride. Scheduled for the end of the summer, we promise to ride - heat, rain, or wildfire smoke be damned. As we have done in previous years, we will meet at the Salmon Street Fountain and have a few stops: we will discuss common climate calamities and how to be prepared, including what emergency essentials to keep in your home or in your Go Bag. We'll also explain Portland's unique community emergency response program (Portland NET); and how getting to know your neighbors might be the most important thing you can do to build your own resilience. And we will stop for ice cream :) Link to the ride route is below. This ride will be led by actual Portland NET members and we encourage other NETs and anyone interested in that training program to join us. See you in August!
