Show up and let the City know that traffic diverters/modal filters and greenways keep people on bike and on foot safe. Mayor Wilson is trying to remove traffic diverters from NW Portland in order to turn one-way streets for cars into two-way streets for cars. The City’s stated goals include sending more cars up NW 20th Ave directly into the Flanders greenway, which is the crown jewel of bike infrastructure for NW Portland. Even if you don’t live in NW, ripping out these diverters means that every diverter in the City is at risk. Every piece of concrete that keeps us safe is at risk if the City doesn’t understand that hard infrastructure keeps us safe. The agenda for the BAC meeting is here: https://www.portland.gov/transportation/bicycle-committee/events/2025/8/12/portland-bicycle-advisory-committee-august-2025-0 Bike Portland has complete coverage of the NW Diverter Removal Scandal: https://bikeportland.org/tag/nw-diverter-removal-plan
