We’re partnering with some of our Give!Guide buds, Depave & p:ear mentor, to host a community ride during the worst time of year to be outside. Join us as we ride to see live music at Friends Of Noise’s new venue, The Off Beat and learn more about the organizations that make Portland a better place for everyone. We’ll start at Depave’s Future Green Plaza and roll north to Community Cycling Center where we’ll stop for free hot cocoa and baked goods for purchase in support of CCC. From there we’ll take low-traffic neighborhood streets to The Off Beat in Kenton where we’ll be greeted with live music from local youth bands and a gathering of more Give!Guide non-profits. It’s a great reason to get out, eat a cookie or three, and learn more about some incredible local non-profits. If you can’t make the ride, be sure to stop by the bike shop for baked good provided by a combination of local bakeries and volunteers. 3pm – Roll out from Depave’s Future Green Plaza (Corner of NE 7th Ave & NE Sandy Blvd) 3:30pm – Ride to Community Cycling Center 1700 NE Alberta St 4-4:45pm – Hangout at CCC bake sale + free hot cocoa and warm drinks 4:45-5:15pm – Ride to Friends of Noise (Off Beat) 8440 N Interstate Ave 5:30-7:30pm – Live Music Show at Friends of Noise: Off Beat BRING LIGHTS!
