Help us fundraise to get bikes for local Palestinian refugees! 🇵🇸

If you need to do some Christmas shopping and want to support local artisans and Palestinians, roll up to the Gifts For Gaza Makers Market, 1-4pm this Sunday at the Portland Liberation Center! Revolutionary Bicycle Club will be tabling at the market, and we want to give you a spoke card or bike sticker and chat with you about all your cool ideas for revolutionary bikey stuff. We've also linked up with JSIR (an org supporting Palestinian refugees in their journey to re-establish their lives in Oregon) and we're raising funds to get bikes for local Palestinian families. Bikes can provide normalcy, mobility and joy for those from whom so much has been taken. Check out @jsir_oregon on Instagram for more info about the amazing people these bikes will go to! Although some adaptive equipment is being covered by other orgs it will still cost an average of $1000 per person, and we're trying to get six people on bikes. Help us reach this goal by donating and sharing the fundraiser, and if you have connections with a bike shop or mechanic services, we'd love to talk with you about donations or discounts (on bikes, locks, helmets, other equipment, or routine maintenance). Venmo your donations to @revbikes or show up in person at the fair to donate cash. Every $10 donated will be given one entry into a raffle to get $300 worth of cool stuff, so please include contact info with your donation so we can get in touch if you win the raffle! ✨WHO IS RBC?✨ Revolutionary Bicycle Club is a collective of leftist cyclists who believe in using bikes for revolutionary anti-capitalist causes–whether that means riding together to protests, distributing aid by bike, or raising awareness of issues via the spectacle of a group ride. We help each other plan and lead rides, and we want you to be part of it!
