Join us in beautiful Mt. Angel, Oregon for the 2026 Beers and Gears Ride for ALS. Every mile pedaled, and every pint enjoyed, fuels hope and support for those battling ALS. We have routes for every rider – family fun routes, 10 miles, 25 miles, 52 miles, and Metric Century. Beers and Gears is a one-day fundraising event designed for every biking enthusiast, regardless of skill level. By registering and meeting your fundraising goal, you'll be part of an unforgettable day of fun, community, and support. In addition, we are excited to share a new opportunity this year for people living with ALS. We are partnering with Recumbent PDX to make riding more accessible than ever. Individuals living with ALS can visit their Portland location for a personalized bike fitting prior to the event, where they will be professionally fitted and will take a test ride to feel comfortable and confident. On the day of the event, participants will be able to ride the same bike they were fitted with for the event. Recumbent PDX offers a variety of adaptive and recumbent bikes to accommodate a wide range of needs and abilities, and they're thrilled to welcome you! We are incredibly excited about this partnership and encourage you to help spread the word. If you are interested in using a bike from Recumbent PDX, please contact Holly Miller or Taylor Maxwell at holly.miller@alsnorthwest.org or taylor.maxwell@alsnorthwest.org. Experience the fun of an unforgettable cycling adventure through picturesque landscapes, with dedicated support every step of the way - from crewed rest stops to reliable SAG vehicles and a vigilant safety team. As you cross the finish line, celebrate your accomplishment amidst lively festivities, including music, lunch, and a selection of craft beers from the Northwest. Join us in the fight to end ALS, raising vital awareness and funds for research and patient care while indulging in the thrill of the ride. All Riders will pay a $50 registration fee that covers the ride, lunch, and two pints on us. Guests are $30 for all the same perks, and people living with ALS are free. Your registration fees help us to cover our costs and make sure all fundraising goes toward the mission! In 2025, over 180 participants came together to raise more than $148,000 in the fight against ALS—help us make an even bigger impact this year! Turn up the brightness and hit the road for this year's Beers and Gears Ride ALS Event with our Highlight ALS theme. Join us for an electric ride, bold neon colors, cold brews, and powerful community support. Sign up today and help us continue the fight against ALS! Together, let's pedal towards a future free of ALS, one sip and spin at a time!
