Are you a MENOPUNK? Are you someone with ovaries over the age of 35? Are you struggling with the myriad of horrific symptoms found in the mid-life transition known as perimenopause or menopause? Does it seem like your doctor is gatekeeping relief in the way of hormone replacement therapy? Have you received HRT and are now ready to spread the gospel about its blessings to your life? Wondering how you can tell when you're in this phase of life? Or what are your options? Do you love someone who has been making their way through this murky swamp phase of life? Let's Fucking Go: You're a MENOPUNK. Join us on Friday, June 12, for a promotional evening ride to highlight the upcoming near-release of the MENOPUNKS documentary and the benefit concert for the project, June 26-27, here in Portland. On this ride, you'll meet people who have navigated this stage of life, are starting this journey, and others who are supportive and ready to help others find relief through evidence-based research and local resources. IN ADDITION, there will be music (of course, there will be)! Carefully curated by MENOPUNKS director and podcast host, Alicia J. Rose, the ride playlist will feature GENX feminist favorites to heighten our voices and carry us through the city. Grab some MENOPUNKS merch from the website and wear it to the ride! Merch will also be available for sale at the start and end of the ride. All funds go to the production of the documentary and podcast. MENOPUNKS is a hormonally radicalized feminist movement fueled by GENX but inclusive of all generations and self- identifications, ready to shut down peri/menopause disinformation once and for all by stepping into our power, telling our stories, and demanding evidence-based information and free and fair access to gender affirming care and hormone therapy for ALL bodies. Ride details to come - check out MENOPUNKS.COM for more information about the benefit concert, the documentary, and the podcast!
