BIKERS OF THE WORLD UNITE! Join us for the first in a summer ride series where we'll roll around playing some of history's most powerful revolutionary tunes, from the resounding voices of the Soviet Army Chorus to raucous folk songs of the Zapatistas to punk rock renditions of Bella Ciao. We'll make occasional stops to chat about the history of the music we're listening to, share zines and playlists, get a little dialectical, or even bust out some dance moves if the revolutionary spirit inspires us to get our freak on. The only thing we've got to lose is our chains...but this is a no-drop ride, so we'll make sure to stop and get any slipped chains back on bikes so that we can keep riding together towards collective liberation. Different theme each ride; check back for details closer to the date. An important note: we don't fuck with Spotify and don't use it for our ride playlists. It has deep investor ties to the US/Israel war machine, treats its artists poorly, and is actively making music stupider with its AI algorithm. If you wanna sync up with our playlists, let us know in advance so we can find the best way to share.
