End location: near N Rosa Parks Way and N Interstate Ave
We'll be touring four little backyard oases in North and Northeast Portland with a few nifty corners and parks along the way. This is for all gardeners, wanna-be gardeners, black thumbs, green thumbs, and jealous apartment/condo dwellers. If you came on this ride two years ago, there will be some repeats and some brand new spots! Hope to see you again if you enjoyed this ride last time (also hoping it’ll be at least 20 degrees cooler!) All ages and abilities are welcome as long as they can ride 10 miles at a leisurely pace. The route will mostly be on greenways and side-streets without much elevation gain or loss. Please come prepared with whatever you need to be comfortable for a few hours--snacks, water, sunscreen, hat, etc. There will be some snacks and drinks at the stops, but it would be a good idea to bring along some water. Easy access to the Trimet Max yellow line at the start (Overlook station) and finish (Rosa Parks station).
