Ride length: 3-8 miles
Do you like bicycles? Do you like tabletop fantasy roleplaying games? Do you like parks? Do you like beer? If you can say yes to at least one of these things, then Side Quest Ride Quest might be the ride for you! Come join us as we crawl through N and NE PDX and visit some of our town's most beautiful public parks and maybe a public house or two. If people are interested, we can have extended stops at parks to hang out and roll some dice maybe? Costumes welcome! Dress up as your own D&D player character or your favorite romantic interest or villain from the realms. Plan for about 7 miles, give or take. This will be a medium-chill-paced ride. We might get excited but we certainly don't want to leave any adventurers in the dust. The ride will not be a loop, but very nearly so. We plan to end the ride at Old Town Brewing on NE MLK for beers and pizza. For those who want to join, some of us will be going to nearby Curious Comedy Theater to watch the new D&D-themed improv comedy show, Side Quest! It's Swords, Its Sorcery, it's Intrigue. Oh my! Depending on how many people show up, we may need corkers, so volunteers are appreciated and loved! No fee for the ride, but if you want to buy beer/pizza/salad/etc, or if you want to purchase a ticket to the show, that is up to you and your pantheon.
