Simpsons themed alleycat!! ARE YOU READY?? registration @ 1 pm // race @ 2 pm Categories: OPEN & WFTNB Top 3 in each category all get prizes. DFL + first timers get a something small/silly. IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING... wtf is an alleycat?? It’s like a scavenger hunt on bikes and just might be of my very favorite community events around. I hope that you, yes YOU reading this right now, come try it out! All racers will receive a manifest with a list of checkpoints at the start of the race. Riders must figure out their own fastest or most creative way through the city to hit as many checkpoints possible in the allotted time. At each checkpoint, racers might have to get a stamp/sticker, take a photo, or do a small task to prove they were there. Winner in each category will be decided by whoever has the most points. Tie breaker = fastest time. what do I need to bring?? all racer must bring a LOCK, your PHONE for photos, a PEN, and it is highly recommended that you wear a helmet!! what are the race categories?? WFTNB: women, trans, femme, non-binary Open: open to all is there an entry fee?? Not this time! What kind of bike do I need?? All geared bikes and freak bikes welcome. Sorry, no E bikes, you’re welcome to race, but if it isn't human powered you can’t get podium. Can I be apart of a team?? You and ride and navigate with others, however podium and prizes will be awarded based on individual scores/finish times. is okay if I’ve never done an alleycat before??? Of course! we all got to start somewhere! In fact, I am also nervous - this is my first time organizing an alleycat, so lets be excited and nervous together?? can't make the start, but want to come support the event and racers? meet me in Oregon Park 3/4 ish!
