    That’s right, Dave Mustaine was once a member of Metallica for 8 months before they ever released an album... And he still won’t shut up about it. So we ride to settle, once and for all, the non-existent debate over music’s biggest rivalry! THEME: Bike the Lighting! We will merge with the Megadeth ride and give them a chance to bend the knee. Wearing Metallica merch or thrash metal gear is encouraged. Bonus points for feathered hair and horseshoe mustaches. ROUTE: Route will be 12ish miles at a social pace with at least 1 store stop. The ride will not be a loop, but it won’t end far from the start point. This is a no-drop ride. While the route won't be posted beforehand, feel free to ask the ride leader about specifics at the start or at stops if you have questions. ------- We take the Shift2Bikes Code of Conduct seriously - respect your neighbors on and off the ride.
