Calling all cyclists, robotboys, fembots, and dancehall queens! Call your girlfriend and tell her it’s time that we dance to the beat. This ride is all Robyn. Who’s that girl? She's an internationally beloved Swedish pop-star - killin' it since '94. She's the founder and CEO of Konichiwa Records. Listed in section 202 of the United Nations Security Act of 1979 as being too hot to wear tight sweaters in international airspace. She's recently had a comeback album that had fans gasping - is it really real? I know it's just dopamine but the timing of this ride just feels so real to me. I'll talk you through it... Route Map Linked Below: Expect a ~2 hr joy ride of 11miles, with 2 stops to dance, hydrate, and cool down (bring your own bevvies - there is no store stop). * Ride is a loop. (Nearly the same as last year - I'm a sucker for this route.) * We will be taking a a couple major streets briefly, and a bridge! Do you know what it takes to make this a great ride? - We will need corkers (and those who are cork curious.) - Loud speakers (for music.) - And of course you! (It's not as good by myself.) Got a decent speaker? BRING IT! In past years we've tried to sync the speakers... it never really works so that's out the window. All I ask is that the music is Robyn only, and that you turn down your music when it conflicts with a louder speaker. Curated Robyn playlist available on Tidal at the link below. Sometimes we need an audience to feel like we're making sense. Dress your Robyn fantasy - work up a vibe. Be sure to bring water (you’re not indestructible) and snacks/beverages - there will NOT be a store stop. We'll be riding into the sun(set) - remember to charge your bike lights so you can light up, light up the way to your heart. BANNED RIDERS: If you are banned from any rides, you are also banned from this ride. This ride will be a safer space for queer and bipoc folks with a zero tolerance policy for non-consent, discrimination, or phobic behavior. Never record others or take pictures without a person's verbal consent (no is a complete answer.) Google glasses are not allowed on this ride.
