To face the climate crisis, we need a strong, resilient and joyful Portland community. Join your Portland neighbors during PNW Climate Week to build a community of care, joy and climate action at The Lantern on July 17 from 4-8pm! This family-friendly event will educate, inspire and energize us all to play our parts in addressing climate change--while finding joy in community and climate action. Enjoy activities and nature-based curriculum for kids, free sunset yoga for adults, a group bike ride, and a plant-based food market offering sustainable bites, alongside a resource fair with climate action and mutual aid information. (Full event details here: https://luma.com/y9jdjlf5) Join us to bike to this event! The main ride will start at 5:30 pm from Ladd's Circle Garden. We'll take a slow and steady route past a few neighborhood sustainable points of interest, then arrive to the event around 6 pm. If you want to make this ride a loop, a couple folks will be riding down to Ladd's Circle Garden from The Lantern, leaving at 5:15 pm and arriving to Ladd's Circle before the ride time.
