    Get ready to walk, bus, and bike to school at the Vancouver Safe Routes to School Summer Fair! This is a free event hosted by the City of Vancouver to help get elementary school students and their parents ready to ride, walk and roll to school safely this year, and prepare students for the Let’s Go bike education program that is part of public school PE curriculum for 3rd-5th graders at schools across Vancouver, Clark County and Washington State. At the Safe Routes to School Summer Fair you can: - Plan your walk, bus, or bike route to school. - Learn how to ride for the first time, or practice your safety skills in the Bike Rodeo. - Free bike and helmet fittings. - Win prizes from local businesses. What to bring: - Bicycle, tricycle or kick-scooter if you want to participate in the bike rodeo or ride in the bike garden. - Helmets are required for anyone biking, scooting or skating. Visit the Information booth if your child needs one. - Drinking water - Sun protection Getting here: - C-TRAN’s The Vine Red Line Devine Road station provides direct access to the Heights Bike Garden. - Limited free parking is available on-site. Event parking is located off N Devine Rd Drive south of Mill Plain Boulevard. All users must follow posted safety rules and requirements for use per Vancouver Municipal Code 15.04.
