Native plants are beautiful and functional. They feed our native pollinators and birds - and us! And some are so easy to grow in your garden. On this ride you’ll see some examples of native plant gardens and get some tips for growing native plants in your own garden, whether sunny or shady. We’ll end with a tour of established native plantings at Blueberry Learning Farm in Cully - some planted nearly 20 years ago. (And yes, you will get to eat some berries!). We should arrive at the farm by 8 and finish the tour by 8:30. About 5.5 miles. Family-friendly, social pace, no drop, kiddos welcome and encouraged. BYO snacks. Several stops will have bathrooms and water. Corkers welcome for crossing major streets. Feel free to play music about plants and nature while we ride - ride leader will not have a playlist or speaker.
