Please join the City of Portland on a bike tour of North and Northeast Portland residential ecoroofs. What is an ecoroof? Ecoroofs are living, breathing, vegetated roof systems that are sustainable alternatives to conventional roofs. Their thin, lightweight soils and drought tolerant plants require minimal irrigation and maintenance. Ecoroofs improve watershed health and air quality, and are part of a growing worldwide movement to develop sustainably. Space is limited. Please RSVP to besecoroof@portlandoregon.gov.
