Ride length: 15+ miles
RIDE LEADER MESSAGE: Cycle Cats go to Oregon City It’s been three years since we last did this route so let’s take advantage of this glorious autumn and ride bikes! Route is about 40 miles with approx 2000ft elevation. The biggest single climb is Riverview Cemetery but there are a few short, spicy climbs sprinkled through the rest of the route. As is our way, there will be many mixed-terrain cutties but normal tires should get you through. I’ve ridden the route on 32’s before but it was a little bumpy. There will be glass and other pointy bits so bring your flat repair kits. We’ll stop at Market of Choice in West Linn for lunch supplies then ride about 2.5 miles to a lovely viewpoint to eat picnic style. Pace will be the typical Cycle Cat speed – a little quicker on the flats but we’ll regroup after the climbs.
