This is a walking tour of the new 'Land Bridge' installation of the larger Confluence Project. This project highlights Lewis & Clark's meeting with Native American tribes along the Columbia by reconnecting pedestrians and bicyclists to the Columbia waterfront over the SR-14 highway. It has been designed by Johnpaul Jones, architect and Maya Lin, artist. The trail surfaces have been designed to be environmentally friendly. This is a stop as part of the Towards Carfree Cities Conference mobile workshop in Vancouver. This site is east of the I-5 Bridge, a 12 minute bike ride from the Expo MAX.
