Meet at 6, roll at 6:15
8:00 PM
We'll ride all the busy streets in Portland where "sharrows" are used to instruct bicycles to take the whole lane. That's what they're designed for -- to let cars and bikes know it's A-OK to ride smack dab in the middle, so bikes don't get squished off the road by cars. Streets like SW Stark, SE Clay, NE 12th, NW 9th, and the St. Johns Bridge (optional). "Active Right of Way" or AROW is a small grassroots transportation advocacy group.
