A temporary weekend long reclamation of excess street space (by the Clinton Street Theater) transformed into community public space with umbrellas, planters, movable tables and chairs. The newly formed Better Block PDX has come together to create inviting and interactive public spaces around Portland that challenge the notion that streets are only for cars. Supported by Umbrella 501(c)3 (the same fine people that bring you Shift and WNBR). Free.
