On BIZARRO 122nd Avenue, East Portland's most important artery not only has a frequent service bus line, it's also got a pair of protected bike lanes that make it comfortable and safe for tens of thousands of Portlanders to get north and south without the use of cars. Kicking off BikePortland.org's week of reporting from East Portland, we'll ride from the 122nd Ave MAX station to the Springwater Corridor, pausing along the way to talk about the alternative 122nd Avenue that you can already see if you squint. Optional dinner afterward at Cartlandia, just off the Springwater.
