Ride the classic 40-Mile Loop as a series of three bike rides, one a week for three weeks during Pedalpalooza. Come on one ride or do all three for the complete loop! This version of the loop is really 51 miles long, as the route has evolved from its original naming over 100 years ago. Each of the three segments is 16 to 18 miles in length, and the segments start and end at MAX stations to eliminate the need to ride to/from the start/end. Following creeks and rivers for most of its length, the loop is flat with no uphill sections. This 2nd ride starts at the Cleveland Ave MAX Blue Line and follows separated bikeways along the Columbia River to the Cascades MAX Red Line station. Ride #1 is on June 9, and Ride #3 is on June 23.
