The Tank of Doom (tankofdoom.info) will be touring the streets of Downtown Portland to commemorate the June 3, 2016 derailment of a Union Pacific oil train in Mosier, Oregon. We will be gathering at 5324 NE Ainsworth St in the Cully Neighborhood around 10:00 AM or so. We aim to leave around 11 AM. Our general route will be downtown and then back to Cully late afternoon to early evening. The exact time of return will depend on how things go. This is a spontaneous ride that, in addition to remembering Mosier, will be done in the spirit of bike fun and demonstrating the incredible power of a community committed to fossil fuel-free active transportation.
