(Or a LIE, if they see us from Hollywood's perspective.) A joke that is a lot less funny when I have to explain that this concept is YES, culturally appropriating people that idolize colonizers with fervent patriotism by "inappropriately" adopting their culture, customs and clothing, Karen. IT'S THE AMERICAN THING TO DO, KAREN. To MAKE FUN of the absurdity of this holiday by somehow being even more ABSURD. SO LET'S DO IT!!! BRING YOUR BEST ALL "AMERICAN" DISH!!! Watermelon. Hot dogs. Booze and swimsuits. Potato Salad. Deviled Eggs. Burn shit. Whatever. Hell yeah, brother. ALL the stuff. Potluck, you choose. This would be a great time to try out your grill by bike stuff.
