Contrapalooza is back! Join us for a night of lively folk dance with smiley humans as we ride and roll and dance our way around Portland. This ride is designed for beginners to learn how to contra dance, no experience needed! Just bring a good attitude and willingness to make mistakes. We will roll around town with dance stops called by local talent and sound provided by NakedHeartsPDX. Skaters welcome! Each of our dances will have instructions, all calling is non-gendered, and this is an intentionally queer and PoGM welcoming space. Join us! This year The Portland Country Dance Community (PCDC) awarded us a grant and we are so thankful! Please help make the ride as safe as possible for yourself and others. If you have special needs please come talk to your ride leaders.
