Esther Short Park at the clock tower, Park, W 6th St, Vancouver, WA 98660
Meet at the Salmon Run Bell Tower located in the Southeast corner of Esther Short Park
Bryan Watson
Mon, Jun 1, 2026, 2:30 PM
Right out at 3:00 p.m.
4:00 PM
This ride is for anyone wanting to ride as a group from Vancouver, across the interstate bridge through Delta Park, and into the kickoff ride. I led this ride last year, which was received well by a dozen of us. Thanks again to the cycle of Vancouver group, Jason and Isaiah, for the patchwork on my flat we had last year in Delta Park. Just another example of the benefit of traveling as a group. Ride leaves a little early, which gives you ample time to chill grab a bite to eat and watch the crowds build for the kickoff of events. Come join one of your Clark county bicycle and pedestrian advisory committee members for an opportunity to give input on anything that's on your mind with cycling infrastructure in Clark county.

Ride is a loop
Welcome to Mellow Mondays 2026. Are you interested in leading a ride? This is a supportive and organized way to lead for the first time. Every week there’s different themes but there are constants…. Slow pace, about 8 mph, Distance varies but approx 10 miles, Family friendly, We practice consent and non-violence on all our rides, Store stop for safe clean bathroom access but generally we try and make these stops short, Skater friendly (but please check with ride leader about crunchy or potential issues for skates), ALL Wheels friendly (scooter, skates, skateboard, e bikes etc), Ride is always a loop, Corking and traffic intersections are calm. Be mindful of smoking around others and do not smoke around children. FAQ, Can I bring a speaker? Yes but please speak to the ride leader and play the music they’ve carefully selected or what their preference is. Can I lead a ride? Yes, please attend a few first and get a feel for how the rides are. I’ve heard NakedHearts supports other rides? Yes, we can help with planning, encouragement, promotion, sound support and what not. What do you mean you practice consent? We ask everyone (even friends, relatives, husbands and wives with each other) to ask for permission before touching anyone else or their belongings and when asking to seek listen and empower ‘No’. What do you mean you practice Non-violence? We specifically expect everyone to be calm, kind and respectful with all car interactions. One riders aggression to a car driver can put everyone else at risk. We live in a small city and are bound to encounter the same drivers again. Are all your rides a protest? Yes, being together with respect and acceptance and finding comfort and joy around others and strangers is an act of protest against the divisive paradigm we are in.

I mustache you a question: Would you like a mustache ride? Well we're gonna have one on Wednesday the 3rd of June! This is a no-drop party-pace ride (10ish to 12ish mph). We will have treats at the end! Feel free to bring your own to share. This ride is for mustache havers and mustache appreciators. Everyone is welcome! We'll have stick-ons for those who are mustache deficient and would like to be otherwise, but there is no requirement to actually have a mustache to ride. Previous Mustache Rides have started at Ladd's and ended on Mt. Tabor, but we are considering a longer, flatter, and hotter mustache ride for this year. Stay tuned ;)

We honor the legacy of one of the great Ambassadors for Portland and lifelong Bike Advocate Bill Walton who lead the Portland Trail Blazers to their one and only Championship in 1977. The Big Red Head and Famed Dead Head was literally one of the biggest (definitely the tallest) Grateful Dead Fans on the planet. Truly one of the great humanists of his generation. The Grateful Dead will be the primary music of choice accompanying the ride. Open to all Blazer Maniacs, Bill Walton admirers and Grateful Dead fans. * Note this ride is a primer as we ramp up for next year's (2027) 50th Anniversary NBA Championship Ride*

Okay okay hear me out. Clifford the Big Red Bike, a tall bike Mark made from a 1987 Hardrock, has been an absolute joy to ride for the last three years and over two thousand miles. Clifford is too big to fit in a car and has too long a wheelbase to fit on a bike rack. Clearly the most sensible thing to do is ride a tall bike to Corvallis. And you're invited! Complete route linked here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/54775127 Not a no-drop ride. Not a loop. Feel free to bail whenever.

Did you know Portland was home to the invention of the t-shirt cannon, which was famously used in an alternate cut of the movie Dr. Strangelove? No? Then join us for a deeply factual tour of the city’s most legendary landmarks and utterly true history. We’ve spent minutes in the local library, definitely reading microfilm and not just making stuff up. On this ride/skate, you'll uncover long-lost stories of Portland’s tumultuous past, like the original layout of the city was optimised for carrier pigeons, and that is why falcons were banned within city limits until as recently as 1974. Impress your friends with your suspiciously specific Portland trivia! Confuse your enemies! Ride your bike! Skate your skates! Costumes encouraged, skepticism optional, all wheels welcome.

Feel free to decorate your bike in yarn or wear your favorite finished object. Store stop likely just before our end point so that we can snack while we make. Sun, Jun 14, 2026, 1:00 PM
Meet at 1PM. Roll out at 2PM
Established in 2017, we ride once a month to enjoy what this city has to offer. Each month is led by a different CORVIDAE member, and therefore will be unique. We occasionally have themes or additional donations to different organizations. Additionally, host pop-up rides during the summer and collect dry non perishables for food donations every month. We try to focus our rides on greenways, group etiquette, safety measures and general comradery. In addition to bike safety and accessibility, we want to promote using bicycles as an alternative to fossil fueled travel within Portland. This is a no-drop ride, but please bring your repair kit with a spare tube so we can keep the ride rolling. Please bring your own provisions; we’ll be stopping near stores, but not at them. Each member has an eye out for the crowd, will cork, sweep and be a general pillar of support. Ride pace is casual at around 10 miles with a few park stops. We aim to impress that this is a safe environment for all; no aggressive, sexist, racist, or any other kind of BS will be tolerated. Please review our Corvidae Code of Conduct. Meet 2nd Sunday of every month Hang at 1 PM Wheels down at 2 PM sharp Bring your respect for each and the city. Leave no trace 🤘🏽

Actually we leave at 7:30 now…it’s too cold to hang around

How do you haul stuff? Storage makes the bike more useful. You can drive less, and do more by bike. Milk crates are the best solution! They hold so much! There's no limit to the height of your pile. You can reach in while riding, or at a light. Attach decorations to it! It's cheap and easy! Calling all cyclists with milk crates! Or those who are crate-curious. From the starting point, we'll head to Laurelhurst Park for milk-crate games and contests. Afterwards, we'll head to a grocery store (People's Coop or New Seasons), for a ~25 minute stop, and show off how many groceries you can carry. From there, you can either head home, or ride around downtown with me, ending at Lovejoy Fountain Park. This will be a slow ride, paced for people learning to bicycle, and families with children. No one will be left behind. This allows time for socializing during the ride. We’ll take greenways and bike lanes, to minimize interactions with drivers. Because Portland’s bicycle network is incomplete, there may be short necessary portions of sharing larger roads, and we’ll stay together as a group for safety.

Meet 7ish. Ride 8 ish.
Friday night ride is a social ride for people who enjoy a sporty pace and adventurous routes. Every ride is different but generally range between 15 and 25 miles and you can expect some climbing and higher speeds than your average pedalpalooza ride. NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE. Riders should be self sufficient and have a plan for getting themselves home. This is a bicycle-forward group ride. Pedal-assist ebikes are ok (class 1 & 2). Throttle heavy, high speed battery powered motor bikes are not (class 3 & 4). If you're not pedaling it’s not a bicycle and you will asked to leave. Bring lights/locks/responsible vibes/a cup/ Casual pace with some extra zip 10-20ish mile rides with store stops/park stops/art stops NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE… ESPECIALLY IN THE FALL/WINTER/SPRING. Be careful of slippery roads/leafs on ground/pot holes. Call out road hazards to help bike friends stay safe. 2nd Fridays are MMR - later night vibes to make it to Midnight Mystery Ride. If you want to lead a ride just ask! REPEAT… NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE… ESPECIALLY IN THE FALL/WINTER/SPRING. Guest ride leaders wanted and appreciated! Instagram @fridaynightride

There will be fun and fast descents and some climbs to overcome. The best part? You will be doing it with likeminded people and maybe even make a friend or two. Please bring flat repair kits, some snacks and water, though we will have a stop or two, and that P.M.A. We also recommend a helmet because we all want to get home. Hope to see you there. We’ll be at the location till about 4 ish when we start the New Gen Punk Alt Ride from there. Safety: If you’re a banned rider, you’re banned here too. As with all our rides: We practice consent. No matter who you’re with we ask you ask for permission before touching anyone or their property. That when you ask, you seek, listen and empower ‘no’. We practice, non-violence specifically around car interactions. If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable please find a NakedHearts rider for support or come to the front and talk with the ride leader or just ask to ride with us. There will be at least one safety stop so we can check on everyone and to have all the support people identify themselves.

Meet at 2pm, ride at 2:15pm
4:00 PM
Ride length: 0-3 miles
Celebrate the 18th anniversary of Kidical Mass PDX with a bike ride downtown to get frozen yogurt! This family-friendly, kid-paced bike ride first happened on June 20th, 2008 on a route downtown similar to this one. It was the second Kidical Mass ride in the world, after the first one in Eugene the month before. Now there are hundreds of Kidical Mass groups around the world! This year we’ll ride from The Fields Park in NW Portland to Director Park downtown, where we can get self-serve frozen yogurt with topping at Tartberry, a local shop. The ride is free, but bring money for yogurt. Meet at 2:00pm, ride at 2:15pm. The ride is a loop, 3 miles total, with a 30 minute break at the park and yogurt shop after 1.5 miles, so it is suitable for most young bike riders who can pedal their own bike without training wheels. We should be back to the start by 4:00 pm. We ride at a moderate pace for little pedalers and parents on cargo bikes. Kids should wear a helmet, be able to balance and pedal in a straight line, start and stop. Cargo bikes, tandems, trailers and tag-a-longs are great for kids who haven’t learned to pedal. Adult corkers are welcome to join as a traffic safety superheroes. We’ll ride together as a group, rain or shine, because kids are traffic too! Route map: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/46407664

Ride is a loop
End location: Rolls back to Irving Park at midnight!
Ride length: 15+ miles
It's summer! It might be hot! We still have a great constitution! There are still lots of things wrong in our world. Let's ride/protest naked! All day? Why not? We'll go slow to medium paced. Nobody left behind. Frequent rest breaks in secluded greenspaces. Occasional clothed breaks for restrooms and grocery stops. Meet at Irving Park at 8:00 am, then rendezvous with the Sunny Naked ride at Coe Circle at 10:30, hit the Leif Erikson Trail in the heat of the day at 2:00, go for a swim at a secret beach in St. Johns at dinner time, then Colonel Summers Park for the Waxing Gibbous Moon Ride at 9:00 pm. You can drop out or re-join any time. Peaceful protest is a long-established tradition in the United States of America. As a group, we'll be protesting unsafe conditions on Portland streets. You can be personally protesting any issue that is important to you. We will have short formal protests at ODOT and PBOT's headquarters in downtown Portland. (But will not be going by the ICE facility in Johns Landing) We keep the ride a safe space for all participants. All bodies and level of nakedness welcome. Request no cameras by ride participants. **Ride may be cancelled or shortened if forecast is for steady rain or other harsh weather. We will update by 11:59 pm Friday June 26 if we are cancelling due to rain.**

It's summer! The moon is big! It might be hot! We still have a great constitution! There are still lots of things wrong in our world. Let's ride/protest naked! Pre-full moon naked ride. Two days before the full moon is a large, bright moon that comes up 2 hours before sunset. So instead of rolling on the full moon, we're doing the Waxing Gibbous. Protesting car dominance. And having a good time! Past Tire and crew led full moon rides for about 11 years, we have now shifted to Waxing Gibbous. We're formally protesting the lack of safe bikeways in Portland. We'll have short protests with dancing and chants at ODOT and PBOT downtown. You are encouraged to protest any and all issues important to you! (We'll have body paint) We keep the ride a safe space for all participants. All bodies and level of nakedness welcome.

Sun, Jul 5, 2026, 7:00 PM
Leave for 7:55 exactly
Ride is a loop
finally we will do this ride we’ve been wanting for years to do. Costumes? 1985 or 1955? Have a lab coat? Drain pipe trousers that are too short? A life saver? The clothing from the first movie is so iconic but maybe you’re a cowboy? Or a cyber punk kid? Pick your back to the future movie period…. Maybe there’s a prize that’s not a pile of dung for best costume…. There will be games…participation is mandatory. Can we hit 8.8 mph as a group and travel back in time? Can someone fall out of a tree and be pushed out of the way of a cargo bike? Will we find that sweet Tacoma? Climb the clock tower in time? Ride ends with a 50’s enchantment under the sea dance. (Verse 1) Yo, listen up, it's time to ride, East Coast versus West Coast, side by side. We takin' it back to the golden age, When hip hop ruled the stage. (Chorus) East Coast, West Coast, we on the move, Bumpin' old school jams, gettin' in the groove. Biggie, Nas, Wu-Tang, holdin' it down, From the East to the West, we run this town. (Verse 2) Switchin' it up, we headin' out west, Tupac, Snoop Dogg, they the best. Dr. Dre, Warren G, that West Coast sound, Rollin' with pride, spreadin' vibes all around. (Chorus) East Coast, West Coast, the rivalry is real, No need to RSVP, just hop on your wheels. From Biggie to Tupac, the legends we revere, Join the ride, let's make it clear. (Bridge) No matter where you from, let's find common ground, In the spirit of hip hop, unity is found. No need for drama, just good vibes we bring, East Coast and West Coast, together we sing. (Outro) East Coast, West Coast, let's ride as one, No need for reservations, come join the fun. Represent your side, bring that hip hop heat, Together we roll, ownin' these city streets. And guess what? We linkin' up with the Thursday Night Ride, Doin' it big, amplifyin' the vibe. Join forces with riders, side by side, East Coast, West Coast, together we ride.

Corvidae BC
Sun, Jul 12, 2026, 1:00 PM

This will be our 5th annual ride focused on bringing joy, curiosity, and thoughtful attention to our urban canopy and its inequities which fall along lines of historical racism and income disparities. Our urban trees keep us healthy in many ways, and they deserve our love and protection in return. Many of us already take an active part in growing our urban canopy, so let's celebrate that! And let's bring more into the movement who are learning more and seeing the benefits of our tree friends. Join us to keep the momentum rolling and have a night of celebration for our tree neighbors and the gifts they give us. 🌱❤️🌲 Notes! - Kids welcome, though they should be able to keep up with a pace that's casual for adults. - It’s a one-way (not a loop) ride.

Actually we leave at 7:30 now…it’s too cold to hang around

Let's do this!! Time for the annual ride up Larch Mountain. Grab your fixed gear or single speed and smash up the 14 miles and 4k feet of elevation to get one of the greatest views in the area. There are five mountain tops you can see from the top of the mountain. (No BICYCLE will be turned away). This is a bike ride and will ask e-motos to not participate with us. The entire route will be 90 miles to and from Vera Katz Statue on the eastside esplanade with a total elevation of around 5,500+ feet. There will be a store stop at the Corbett Country Store, hot foods and drinks, and maybe one of the way back depending on how folks are feeling. We will start and end the ride at the Vera Katz Statue on the eastside esplanade. Please bring tools to fix a flat or any other sort of mechanical that may happen while we are out. Follow us on IG @cyclecatspdx for details and come and join our weekday ride on the westside of the river. Follow @westsidewednesdayride for details as this is a year long ride we host. Cowabunga!

Corvidae BC
Sun, Aug 9, 2026, 1:00 PM

I don't have music, so feel free to bring yours. Ride details: My ride is good for new cyclists and families with kids. We go at a slow pace so folks can socialize, and everyone can keep up. We use small neighborhood streets with minimal cars. When we mix with cars, we stay together as a group. The end spot is 2.5 miles from the start. After pizza, if you need to return to the starting point but aren't comfortable riding back on your own, talk to the ride leader about options, or I can likely ride back with you. If you're the original tmnt ride leader, I'll yield to you. I'm doing this because I haven't seen it on the calendar for a few years.

Actually we leave at 7:30 now…it’s too cold to hang around

Meet 7ish.
